A Study into Non-Linear Design
This project coincided with my love of the classic DOOM games, which I noted at the time had some spectacular non-linear level design and I knew that was something I wanted to emulate within my project.
This project coincided with my love of the classic DOOM games, which I noted at the time had some spectacular non-linear level design and I knew that was something I wanted to emulate within my project.
Everything in this demo was created by me; nothing was sourced. This includes the programming, level design and the pixel art sprite sheet.
Something to note is the lack of sound in this demo. Sound was not the focus of my study therefore would have been a redundant feature.
